South Australia’s Transport Strategy is a 30-year framework guiding planning, investment, and supporting strategies across all transport modes in the state. I led the graphic design of the 80+ page publication, transforming complex and technical information into a clear, structured document that could be easily understood by both industry stakeholders and the general public.
The project provided an opportunity to elevate how the Department for Infrastructure and Transport presents its highest-level strategic work. I refined the visual identity and applied it consistently, creating a hierarchy that feels credible and authoritative without being dense or overwhelming.
The final design balances clarity with visual discipline and has set a benchmark for subsequent strategic publications, including the Freight and Supply Chain Strategy and the Level Crossing Safety Strategy, which adopted the structure and visual language established here.
