As part of the Department for Infrastructure and Transport’s 2024 brand refresh, I designed a duotone icon system that is bold, flexible, and full of personality. The system was created to help the department communicate clearly across a wide range of digital and print materials while maintaining a distinctive visual style.
Each icon was crafted to be scalable and adaptable, ensuring consistency and clarity across different applications, from presentations and websites to reports and signage. The duotone style reinforces the department’s refreshed brand identity, creating a recognisable and cohesive look.
This project combined strategic thinking and design execution to develop a system that not only enhances communication but also strengthens the department’s visual identity and engagement with the public.
